Thank you for choosing Bohosew Interiors. Every project is individually designed and handcrafted to suit your home and personal style. The following Terms & Conditions are intended to provide clarity about our process and ensure we both have a clear understanding of what to expect throughout your project.
This proposal includes one complimentary 90-minute bespoke window styling consultation, incorporating the initial site visit and measuring appointment. This time may be used for design discussion, scheme development, fabric and trim selection, colour consultation and styling recommendations relating specifically to this project.
Should additional design consultancy be required, including further design development, sourcing, colour consultation, styling advice or revisions beyond the initial consultation, this service is available at £125 per hour.
Where a confirmed order is placed within 30 days of the consultation, 50% of any additional consultancy fees paid will be credited against the final order value.
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
Quotations are prepared using current supplier pricing. Should supplier prices increase after the quotation has expired, Bohosew Interiors reserves the right to revise the quotation before an order is confirmed.
Any alterations or additions requested after acceptance of the quotation may result in additional charges.
Before materials are ordered, clients will be asked to approve all design specifications, including fabric selections, trims, hardware, colours, finishes and any bespoke details.
Once materials have been ordered or production has commenced, changes may not be possible or may incur additional costs.
A deposit is required before Bohosew Interiors orders materials or commences production.
Receipt of the deposit authorises Bohosew Interiors to purchase fabrics, trims, poles, tracks, hardware and other project-specific materials, and to schedule work with our specialist suppliers and workrooms.
Many of the materials used are cut to order, bespoke or specially commissioned by our suppliers and are therefore non-returnable and non-refundable once ordered.
Should a client cancel an order after materials have been ordered or work has commenced, Bohosew Interiors reserves the right to retain sufficient monies to cover costs reasonably incurred, including:
Where payment has been retained for materials purchased specifically for the client's project, those materials shall remain the property of the client and will be made available for collection or delivery (delivery charges may apply).
Any balance of monies paid above the costs reasonably incurred will be refunded where applicable.
Estimated lead times are typically 8–10 weeks from receipt of the deposit and final approval of all specifications.
Lead times are estimates only and may vary depending upon supplier availability, manufacturing schedules, seasonal demand or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Whilst every effort is made to meet estimated completion dates, Bohosew Interiors cannot accept liability for delays outside our control.
This proposal is based upon all fabrics, trims and hardware being supplied by Bohosew Interiors.
Customer-supplied materials may be accepted by prior agreement. An additional charge may apply to cover specification checking, administration, handling and any additional work associated with using materials not supplied directly by Bohosew Interiors.
As Bohosew Interiors cannot verify the origin, composition, quality or performance of customer-supplied materials, no guarantee can be given regarding their suitability, durability, drape, finished appearance or long-term performance.
Bohosew Interiors accepts no responsibility for faults, flaws or performance issues arising from customer-supplied materials.
Many fabrics are natural or handcrafted products.
Slight variations in colour, weave, texture, pattern matching, pile direction and dye batches are normal characteristics of textiles and should not be regarded as defects.
Natural fading caused by sunlight and normal ageing of fabrics is also outside our control.
Every care is taken during measuring and installation to achieve the highest possible standard of finish.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that installation areas are accessible and suitable for fitting.
Bohosew Interiors cannot be held responsible for hidden structural defects, inadequate fixing surfaces, concealed services or previously undisclosed site conditions that may affect installation.
Any additional work required as a result of such conditions may be chargeable.
The remaining balance becomes payable within 7 days completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer or any other agreed payment method.
Late payments may incur statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs in accordance with applicable legislation.
All goods supplied remain the property of Bohosew Interiors until payment has been received in full.
Bohosew Interiors provides a 12-month guarantee from the date of completion covering workmanship and hardware supplied and installed by Bohosew Interiors.
This guarantee covers manufacturing defects and faults arising through normal domestic use.
The guarantee does not cover:
Bohosew Interiors may photograph completed installations for use within our portfolio, website, marketing materials and social media.
No client names, addresses or identifying information will be published without permission.
All design concepts, mood boards, drawings, specifications, quotations and creative work produced by Bohosew Interiors remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.
They may not be copied, reproduced or used by third parties without our written permission.
Bohosew Interiors shall not be liable for delays or failure to fulfil obligations where caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including supplier delays, shortages of materials, industrial action, severe weather, transport disruption or other unforeseen events.
Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
